When you have a good understanding of these tools, you can then start learning how to make a decent looking anime-styled humanoid model which requires you to understand the typical topology of things. You did mention that you can already "model 3D" but I would still suggest doing everything mentioned above so you know how to do it in Blender. You do not need to actually focus on making something that looks good. When learning the modifiers available in Blender, I would advise making little use of ones like subsurface modifier as those are mostly used for high quality renders which are not necessary for MMD animation.Īlso keep in mind that all of the above is just for learning what tools are available in Blender and how to make good use of them.
